Bo Earls moved to Utah in 1996 from South Carolina to attend college at Utah Valley University, & white visiting Moab in 1999, he noticed finely crafted arrowheads, arrows, and knives for sale in many of the stores. Now with almost 2 decades of Flintknapping experience, Bo still considers himself an amateur of the skill.
In 2005, Bo founded The Utah Valley Knapping Association to share his fascination with The Art of Flintknapping with anyone who was willing to listen. Bo resides in American Fork, Utah with his Wife & 2 Teenage Children. His work can be found on display at multiple Utah State Park Museums & Art Galleries all across the Four Corners Region. His work has even been featured in Motion Pictures, History Channel Shows, & a handful of Instructional Videos.

Our items can be found most prominently in Stores like the Twin Rocks Gallery of Bluff Utah, the Hogan Gallery of Moab Utah, & the John Wessley Powell Museum of Green River Utah.
A majority of Bo's professional career has been working at Universities as a Health Professor & Recreational Director. Since retiring from having a real job, he has been able to put more time into working in his shop with his apprentice; Jello Pariachi. This life change has also allowed him the time to attend multiple primitive skills gatherings. While he may not attend as many shows as he used to, below are some of the events he attends most often.
